New Toys: Flatforms

There is constant battle in my head between what I want my style to be like.

The easy-going part of me wants to kick back in these awesome flat-form chucks, jump into high-waisted distressed denim shorts, and tie a plaid button up around my waist all while rocking a muscle tee and some circle shades.

The other, feels on top of the world in sky high stilettos all while draping a white chiffon maxi dress with a plunging neckline over delicate shoulders with drizzles of rose gold and/or crystal pendants swaying from off my neck.

And when it comes time to actually buy clothes, both sides are at a stand still.

Initially, these babys won me over.

But then I returned them.

Rib Fest

Apologies in advance for any vegetarians out there and those who might consider this in gore side of life.
I have given you warning.

This past Sunday I went straight from work to go to my very first Rib Fest. For those of you who are like me and are unfamiliar with the event I will try to explain it to my understanding. It is an event where chefs from North America travel as a pack and compete to having the best of the best ribs. Each (let's call them kitchens) are set up in booths under huge banners proclaiming their greatness in the field of rib. Kitchens are set up like lemonade stalls where hungry crowds form endless lines to experience their rendition of #1 Rated ribs in the year ____ .
Although the main attraction are ribs, kitchens have a variety of unhealthy but very tasty foods.

And of course I, being the tyrant that I am refused to eat any of the meat. But I did enjoy the sweet corn a kitchen had.

I do enjoy my sweet corn.

The Joseph is sporting a navy button down from the GAP. Minimalism, it's a thing.

We ended the night off with a lovely funnel cake that was both delicious and disgustingly expensive.
